2009 FOALS

  1. 3/11/09 BARLINK SERIOUS BUD AQHA/APHA Hypp N/H Loud, Loud sorrel Overo APHA & AQHA Colt.  Seriously Secure HYPP N/H APHA/AQHA/Palomino x Barlink Rita APHA/AQHA.  Sire is a World Champion Halter horse in the APHA and Palomino Association.  He stands 16.2 and is massive.  Barlink Rita HYPP N/N (Barlink Macho Man x Peacharita AQHA by Beyond Measure AQHA World Champion Halter x Silver Cash mare).  Rita has over 200 halter points in the APHA and was High Point mare in the NW as well as winning in a number of futurities as a yearling.  Beautiful heavy, muscled mare with lots of refinement and her Kids Classic Style 2008 Gelding Wowed them in the futurities last fall winning a good deal of money.   This colt is BIG and will be a great show horse as well as a stallion.   He won 2nd/3rd in Open and Amateur Futurity classes and since he came in thin from weaning he was by far the thinnest colt in the pen but by far the most muscular.....can't begin to imagine what he'll do when he gets more weight on but to keep him sound we will not push him for a futurity.   barlnk@q.com  he is eligible for the NWSSA, and his dam is paid into the Triple Crown Futurities and he will have both sets of papers and paid into the APHA Trust.   2. 3/13/09   BARLINK SECURE MS HYPP N/H Sorrel Overo Filly APHA & AQHA.   Seriously Secure APHA/AQHA World Champion APHA and Palomino and sire.  Dam:  Barlink Masquerade by Barlink Macho Man x The Party Deck by Deck of Stars x AQHA Champion Halter/Western Pleasure and produced same.  Mask is a producer.   Sable is so elegant and refined that it takes your breath away but she's also very tall, correct, balanced and has a long pencil neck and huge hip.  We are thrilled with her and plan on showing her for the next several years.  We don't know much more you'd want in a filly and she will be double registered.  Click here    FOR SALE

  3. 5/5/09 BARLINK GOLDENSECURITY AQHA 5181819 HYPP N/N  Palomino Overo Colt APHA & AQHA.   Seriously Secure APHA/AQHA & Palomino Register x Barlink JK Suecash APHA/AQHA.   Sue and Zeke did a GRAND JOB for us in 2009; this is a stunning loud overo colt that has the potential to be as great as his parents who are both World Champion in Halter.  Sue is truly one of the greats of the breed and at age 20 this year looks good enough to walk back into the show ring.  Not only does she have 1200 plus halter points but she's also got approximately 600 performance points with multiple Superiors in Pleasure.   This colt not only carries the great color but he also has the credentials to become not only a great show horse but a great sire as we all know what these Macho daughters are as producers and Sue has been good at that herself; unfortunately some of her very best died before we could get them to the show ring.  We had every intention of keeping her loud colt by One Touch for our Macho replacement and thought maybe he was the best foal we had ever raised and certainly the equal as a baby to Barlink Macho Man Two but it was not to be......just the fact that you could ride her and win while still going Grand is a testimate to what we like to raise on this ranch.........."HALTER HORSES THAT RIDE AND CAN STILL WIN IN HALTER IN RIDING CONDITION".  We will be keeping this colt through October for our Futurities but he will be offered for sale since we no longer have any desire to stand a stallion even though we believe he's a great one.  Double Registered APHA and AQHA.   4. 4/27/09 KC  BARLINK MISS KC APHA & AQHA Sorrel Overo filly.  Sire:  "Barlink" One Touch APHA/AQHA x Barlink Aimed For Fame APHA/ AQHA.  Amy is the full sister to Barlink Rumor Hasit (1200 Halter & Performance points and winner of 2 performance saddles including Amateur Zone 1 and Barlink Topthis Kid 4x's WC/RWC Halter and Performance.  KC is a FULL BLOOD SISTER to Barlink Oh Mygosh (Fonzi) that Michele got her Superior Halter in Amateur in 2 shows and he has earned over $10,000 in Halter and Performance Futurities.  He is currently being readied for Michele's next great Amateur horse.  When this filly is old enough she will go on and be a replacement for Michele for Fonzi as at that time we will sell him to some Youth who can probably go win the World on him in all-around events as well as be very competitive in Halter.  KC will be shown as a yearling by our family in Open Halter class futurities and be readied for 2 YO Pleasure Futurities.  She is eligible for the TCFuturity and APHA Trust.  Thank you Karen White for selling us this good filly.   1. 1/15/08  BARLINK CLASSY GIRL  APHA/AQHA HYPP N/H Buckskin Solid filly.   Kids Classic Style AQHA x Barlink Masquerade AQHA/APHA by Barlink Macho Man APHA/AQHA x Cropout daughter of Deck Of Stars x AQHA Champion (Superior Halter/Pleasure Three Bars/Leo bred mare).  What a nice big powerful filly with black points, strip in face and 2 stockings.  Very correct, tall, elegant with pencil long neck, short foxy face with little ears, very strong over her back and just a huge hip and forearm right from the get-go.  If you want a show filly don't forget she's eligible for the Triple Crown Futurities/all of the major Paint futurities/APHA Trust, AQHA Trust and also the AQHA futurities.  She will be an asset to anyone as she's got the size and power and elegance to be a great one and we already know the KCS and the Macho bred mares are just a great cross.  We feel this filly can go to the Buckskin, AQHA and the Paint (Solid) World Shows and WIN....she's just that GOOD.     This filly is winning as a yearling in the Buckskin Association back in the midwest and is going to the Buckskin World Show.   SOLD     WINNING HIGH POINT ANNUAL BUCKSKIN AMATEUR AND RES.   3. 4/6/08 BARLINK CLASSIC FOX APHA/AQHA Buckskin  HYPP N/N Loud Overo Filly by Kids Classic Style x Barlink Machos Last APHA/AQHA by Barlink Macho Man.  This filly is really loud and like her mom she has a baby doll face, swan neck, great back, long  hip and very correct.  Freckles is big and elegant.  Talk about a top show filly.  Here we go!!!!!  It appears that someone will have to pry this good filly out of Chuck's dead hands....He's totally in LOVE.  NOT FOR SALE  Freckles is winning in her first few shows and came home from the big Zone 1 Show with the buckle for High Point Amateur mare.  She is now 15 hands but pretty lean but drop dead stunning; we've just not pushed her as she's so tall and elegant that we want her sound so true to our belief over the years this filly is not carrying any extra weight or fat.  She's just what she is and expect greatness out of her.  

  4. 5/2/08 BARLINK CASHETTE APHA/AQHA HYPP N/N Chestnut Filly by Barlink Macho Man Two x Barlink JK Suecash.   Pretty 4 high stocking legged filly with just a spot of white on her lower lip which will make her eligible to be shown in AQHA Halter as well as Solid Colored in the APHA.   What can be said about Suecash....she has almost 2000 points, over 1200 in halter alone, World Championship in halter and tied for Res. World Ch. Halter and was 7th overall in Showmanship and Western Pleasure all in the same World Show.  She's a producer when we can keep her foals alive.........but it seems she's been our hard luck mare.  We said we'd never keep another foal of hers beyond 6 months because we felt we'd jinxed her but I'm afraid at her age we'll try to keep this one just to replace her with.  This is her best foal to date and she's stunning.......as one lady that came here who is a knowledgeable horseman........"she's perfect" and she really is.  She's also got her mother's air of arrogance that stood Suecash so well in the halter pen.
