This colt is thin compared to all of the others that were shown but he's big and has incredible muscle cut and his neck has not been sweat.  He has a short face and very correct in his legs.  If you want a winner don't pass this good colt up as what you see is just exactly what he is without any fitting as he came in thin off  his dam thin and we struggled to get him to this point.   He's going to be 16 hands and extremely heavy muscled when he gets some more age on him.  He most likely will not be beat just like his maternal brother in 2010.

We just put a stick to this colt and he stands 15 H, 1/2" and is a Mid March colt.  He is going to be a 16 hand horse easily with massive muscling and all the rest that goes with a World Quality Show Colt.  He's put on some weight although there is no way you can consider him having enough yet but he's still extreme muscled and his neck is still a noodle.  His face is prettier and prettier with each month he gets older as the jaws have widened out and taken away from all of the white and it is a short face....Don't pass this great colt up.  See Below

Seriously Secure HYPP N/H APHA/AQHA/Palomino x Barlink Rita APHA/AQHA.  Sire is a World Champion Halter horse in the APHA and Palomino Association.  He stands 16.2 and is massive.  Barlink Rita HYPP N/N (Barlink Macho Man x Peacharita AQHA by Beyond Measure AQHA World Champion Halter x Silver Cash mare).  Rita has over 200 halter points in the APHA and was High Point mare in the NW as well as winning in a number of futurities as a yearling. Beautiful heavy, heavy muscled mare with lots of refinement and her Kids Classic Style 2008 Gelding wowed them at the fall futurities and is winning Grand in both Amateur and Open in the shows he's attending in TEXAS.  Bartwo (Barlink)Classic Kid owned by John Tuder

Bud is a BIG tall, elegant colt and he's not carrying one ounce of fat, you can count his ribs but he's eating good and growing good.    He came in thin off his mom and we weaned him at 3 months so we could get a handle on his weight.  Very, Very correct and balanced colt with a tremendous hip and a noodle neck.  Nice face but the white currently makes it look longer than it actually is in real life and as his jaws grow it will be a short foxy face with tiny ears.  Not only will he make a big beautiful show horse but he's got the pedigree and color to be a great sire.  Tested N/H and we have both sets of papers, APHA & AQHA papers.  He is paid into the Triple Crown Futurity, eligible for Oregon Bred and is in the APHA Trust.  This colt will be offered for sale after the fall futurities in Mid October.  barlnk@q.com

5/5/09 GUNNER BARLINK GOLDEN SECURITY HYPP N/N  Palomino Overo Colt APHA & AQHA.   Seriously Secure APHA/AQHA & Palomino Register x Barlink JK Suecash APHA/AQHA.   Sue and Zeke did a GRAND JOB for us in 2009; this is a stunning loud overo colt that has the potential to be as great as his parents who are both World Champion in Halter.  Sue is truly one of the greats of the breed and at age 20 this year looks good enough to walk back into the show ring.  Not only does she have 1200 plus halter points but she's also got approximately 600 performance points with multiple Superiors in Pleasure.   This colt carries the great color but he also has the credentials to become not only a great show horse but a great sire as we all know that these Macho daughters are great producers and Sue has been good at that herself; unfortunately some of her very best died before we could get them to the show ring. 

We had every intention of keeping her loud colt by One Touch for our Macho replacement in 2006 and thought maybe he was the best foal we had ever raised and certainly the equal as a baby to Barlink Macho Man Two but it was not to be......just the fact that you could ride her and win while still going Grand is a testimate to what we like to raise on this ranch.........."HALTER HORSES THAT RIDE AND CAN STILL WIN IN HALTER IN RIDING CONDITION".  We will be keeping this colt through October 2009 for our Futurities but he will be offered for sale since we no longer have any desire to stand a stallion even though we believe he's a great one.  Double Registered APHA and AQHA. 
Unfortunately Gunner broke his shoulder and doubtful if we can save him.
